There are many factors that contribute to the fastest corporate jet, including speed and range. The fastest corporate jet in the world is the Gulfstream G650.
The Gulfstream G650 is a long-range business jet, capable of flying up to 7,500 nautical miles nonstop. It has an average cruise speed of Mach 0.925 (816 mph) and a maximum speed of Mach 0.935 (845 mph).

Cessna Citation Sovereign
The Cessna Citation Sovereign can reach a top speed of 466 mph (750 km/h). The aircraft is capable of flying at a maximum altitude of 53,000 feet (16,150 meters) and has a range of 2,200 miles (3,540 kilometers).
The Sovereign has a maximum range of 4,200 nautical miles (7,800 km) at a speed of Mach 0.85 and 3,500 nautical miles (6,500 km) at Mach 0.90. The maximum cruise speed is Mach 0.90 on ISA+5 conditions (ISA+1).
The Sovereign’s range performance is similar to the business jets in its class and size such as the Embraer Legacy 600 and Bombardier Global Express XRS but has a slower cruising speed than both aircraft.
The Sovereign is powered by two Honeywell TFE731-40AR turbofan engines which produce 7,000 pounds of thrust each. The installation of these engines required structural changes to the aircraft’s wing.
These were done by adding ribs beneath the leading edge of each wing panel, increasing the wingspan by 9 inches (23 cm). The larger wingspan gives the Sovereign an increase in payload capability by 19% over earlier models.
The Cessna Citation Sovereign is a business jet manufactured by Cessna Aircraft Company. The airplane first flew in 1996, and entered service in 1999. The Sovereign is the largest single-engine piston aircraft ever built by Cessna, and it has been used as the basis for other models such as the Citation X and Citation M2

The Embraer Legacy 600 is a business jet aircraft produced by Brazilian manufacturer Embraer, capable of carrying up to twelve passengers and two crew members.
The Legacy 600 is the largest member of the Embraer Legacy family. It was introduced in May 2006, with a maiden flight on August 17th of that year, and entered service in January 2007.
The Legacy 600’s cabin provides seating for up to 12 passengers along with two crewmembers. The aircraft can cruise at over Mach 0.80 at 51,000 ft using its full tanks of fuel (7,800 litres).

Airbus ACJ318 Elite
Airbus ACJ318 Elite top speed is Mach 0.8, or about 735 mph. The aircraft has a range of 5,200 miles. Airbus ACJ318 Elite cabin dimensions are 49.5 inches wide by 74 inches high and 32 inches from the window to the aisle seat on the right side of the cabin.
The cabin can accommodate up to 19 passengers total with 18 in first class and one in business class, according to Airbus.
The Airbus ACJ318 Elite has a top speed of Mach 0.90, which is about 770 mph at its cruising altitude of 45,000 feet. It can fly for up to 15 hours, but the flight time on this aircraft is typically 10 or 11 hours.

Dassault Falcon 7X
Dassault Falcon 7X is an ultra long-range business jet produced by Dassault Aviation. It was first revealed to the public in October 2009, at the National Business Aviation Association convention in Las Vegas.
The aircraft has an overall length of 23.2 m (76 ft) and a wingspan of 28.8 m (93 ft). The hull width is 6.1 m (20 ft), while the height is 4.3 m (14 ft).
It can accommodate up to 12 passengers in a single-class configuration and fly non-stop between European cities, for example London and Paris, at Mach 0.85 and up to 8 hours of flight time without refuelling.
Dassault Falcon 7X is a large long-range business jet, developed by Dassault Aviation. It was introduced in 2005, being a further development of the Falcon 900 series.
The largest member of the Falcon family and the first business jet to have fly-by-wire controls, it is also known as Falcon 7X+ when equipped with four Pratt & Whitney Canada PW610F turbofan engines. The first prototype flew on August 31, 2004.
The first production aircraft was delivered in 2006 and it entered into service in 2007. As of May 2019, more than 200 aircraft have been delivered to business customers and private individuals around the world.
The Falcon 7X has an 11-seat cabin layout with a 1-2-1 configuration. It can cruise at Mach 0.85 at 45 000 ft (13 500 m) altitude and has a range of 8 000 nmi (15 000 km).
The Dassault Falcon 7X is a long-range trijet, developed and manufactured by Dassault Aviation. It is the first business jet with fly-by-wire controls. The Falcon 7X was launched at the 2003 Paris Air Show.
The aircraft’s first flight took place on 11 January 2004, from Istres-Le Tubé Air Base in southern France. It received its certification on 27 January 2005 and entered service in June that year.
The Falcon 7X’s cabin is 5.4 m (17 ft) wide and 4.5 m (15 ft) high, providing space for up to eight passengers in a luxurious seating arrangement, including two seats in each of the forward and rear lavatories.
The cabin features large panoramic windows and a large stowage area behind the seats which can be used as an office or sleeping quarters if required by the owner/pilot or passengers.
The main landing gear wheels retract into underwing fairings while the nose wheel remains exposed above the fuselage when not retracted into its bay behind the cockpit.
Cessna Citation X+
The Cessna Citation X+ is a business jet aircraft produced by the US-based aerospace manufacturing company Cessna Aircraft Company. The Cessna Citation X+ was first presented at the annual National Business Aviation Association convention in October 2006.
In December 2006, it received its type certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), which allowed production aircraft deliveries to begin in 2007.
The aircraft was developed as a successor to the successful Cessna Citation X and improved upon it with enhancements such as increased range and fuel capacity, improved avionics and cabin comfort options.
The first delivery took place on 9 January 2007 and since then more than 500 examples have been produced and delivered to customers around the world.
The aircraft was introduced in 2008 as an update to the Citation X, which had been in production since 2002. The X+ was designed to be more fuel efficient than its predecessor and to have a longer range.
It also features improved avionics and cabin amenities, including a customisable interior with leather seats and wood veneer finishes.
The Citation X+ is certified under both FAR-25 and EASA CS-25 standards; these regulations require that pilots maintain proficiency in all phases of flight, including takeoff and landing procedures, steep turns, climb performance, stalls and emergencies procedures.
Cessna recommends that pilots undergo recurrent training at least once every three years using their simulator facilities prior to flying any aircraft.
The Cessna Citation X+ is a business jet aircraft manufactured by Cessna Aircraft Company. The X+ is an upgraded version of the original Citation X, with more powerful engines and improved avionics.
The Citation X+ made its first flight on March 4, 2011 and was certified by the FAA on September 27, 2011.

Bombardier Global 7000
The Bombardier Global 7000 has a maximum speed of Mach 0.925 (800 mph / 1,287 km/h). The aircraft’s cruising speed is Mach 0.85 (673 mph / 1,082 km/h) at its standard flight altitude of 51,000 feet (15,500 m). The Global 7000 can also cruise at Mach 0.85 at an altitude of 45,000 feet (13,716 m).
The Bombardier Global 7000 is a long-range business jet. It was designed to compete with the Gulfstream G650ER and Dassault Falcon 5X, and entered service in 2018. The Global 7000 can fly at Mach 0.925 (1,000 km/h or 621 mph) at its maximum cruise altitude of 51,000 feet (15,545 m) and has a range of 7,700 nautical miles (14,000 km).
The Global 7000 is powered by two Rolls-Royce BR725 turbofan engines rated at 23,600 lbf each. Bombardier describes the Global 7000 as a “private jet for the public.” It seats up to 18 passengers in its cabin, which features a large entertainment system with a touchscreen interface and seat-to-seat video conferencing capabilities.

At Mach 0.87 about 650 knots the aircraft will burn about 13 gallons per minute with no passengers or cargo on board and about 16 gallons per minute with full fuel tanks and 20 passengers aboard.
While the title of “fastest corporate jet” is up for debate, there is no doubt that many new and innovative designs are being released on a regular basis with the goal of increasing speed and efficiency.
The global demand for private and business jets has never been higher, which means that manufacturers are racing to build the next generation of private jets.
Supersonic speed is a rather lofty target, but the Gulfstream G650ER is the fastest corporate jet capable of supersonic speed. Thanks to its exceptionally efficient design, the G650ER can travel at Mach 0.925 or 497 mph (800 km/h) at an altitude of 45,000 feet.
