Final verdict
As a whole, the G650 is quite impressive. It offers fantastic flight characteristics while still being an economy jet. In other words, it’s not super sluggish or slow-flying like some of its competitors, but it doesn’t treat passengers like sardines in a can either.
It offers a nice balance between speed and comfort. The jet is gorgeous to look at as well, giving it some serious presence anywhere it goes. It’s truly one of the most interesting private jets out there today.
The Citation XLS+ is the fastest, longest range private jet available in it class. With a list price of $29.9 million, this aircraft sets the bar for style and hot-rod speed in the Citation lineup.
While it has strong competition from Falcon 900s and Hawker 800XPs, especially in the slower long-range category, it’s escape velocity of 590 KTAS will keep most customers happy well into the next decade.
The Global 6000 meets all of the criteria with a Range of 7500 nm, 4 Hour Max Cruise Speed, and a Mach 0.82 Max Cruise Speed. The Global can fly further than the Falcon 900 (7050 nm) while carrying the same number of passengers with only one engine to worry about.
The Global can fly faster than any other comparable jet with the exception of the Falcon 8X (Mach 0.86). The Global offers excellent range at an affordable price point.
It looked as if there were no clear winner in the battle between Gulfstream and Bombardier until Bombardier released its newest addition, two years after the release of their last model.
